Coldest Night of the Year
On February 25th,2023 the community of Dawson Creek came together for our Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser! We walked to end poverty, homelessness, and hunger. Together with your help, we raised just under $40,000 to go towards Networks Ministries Programs and Facilities. Good Food Box
The Good Food Box Program offers free, fresh produce to those in the community who struggle with food security. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to eat healthy despite financial challenges.
This initiative is a joint effort between Networks Ministries and the Dawson Creek Co-op. We appreciate the Dawson Creek Co-op who have partnered with us in this initiative since 2014! The cost of the Good Food Box Program is lower than the cost of the same products at the grocery store. Those who qualify receive a Good Food Box at no charge, thanks to the generous support of our community.
The Good Food Box Program operates on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. Fresh produce can be picked up between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm on those days. If you are registered on the program and cannot make it to pick up your Good Food Box, please let us know so you don’t lose your spot. ******Please Note: Good Food Boxes are only for those who are registered on our program. Those who are faithful at showing up each time to pick up their Good Food Box. Those who miss more than 3 times will be removed from the reserved list. Extra Good Food Boxes will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. ******

The cost of this program is $14 per box or $336/year per household. If you would like to make a donation towards this initiative, you can do so via cash, credit, debit or e-Transfer. E-transfers can be sent to accounts@networksdc.ca. If this is your first time making a donation to our organization please email us your contact information to the same email. Your information should include: First and last name, middle initial, full address and postal code, as well as phone number.
