We are so excited for our building! I feel like the entire community can now breath a sigh of relief. We have been waiting for this to happen for a long time. We at Networks want to extend a huge Thank-you for all your support!
The Plan
We have purchased the former O'Brien School in Dawson Creek B.C. We will take possession on September 1,2020. Then the work will begin. On Sept 12 we will be hosting a work bee to get the building cleaned as it has been used for SD59 storage. Let's just say it could use a cleaning. Because we still will have to practice physical distancing, we will have online registration to be a part of the work bee. We will have a list of things that will need to get done closer to the event so that everyone know what needs to get done.
Because there are restrictions on gathering, we will be taking our time getting the building set up. We will focus on the areas that we need in order to operate our basic programs. This will give us time to plan out the new spaces so that they will be exactly what we need. We want to do things right! We also will have to continue to raise funds to cover the costs of renovations.
